Mozzi's Classic
The signature combo: pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers. Mark Lee's blueprint pizza.
Hand-tossed pizzas, the Mozzi Mac, and the buffet that made the Greenfield Fieldhouse famous. Four locations across Hancock County, all using the top-secret sauce and homemade dough Mark started with in 1982.
Since 1982 Mark Lee opened Mozzi's Pizza in 1982 with a top-secret sauce, a homemade dough, and a willingness to feed Hancock County one Friday at a time. Forty-plus years and four locations later, that recipe is back.
After Mark's passing in 2016, the brand drifted. The Greenfield flagship closed in August 2024 — the Daily Reporter literally ran a piece titled "End of an Era." But Greenfield wasn't done with Mozzi's, and Mozzi's wasn't done with Greenfield.
In December 2025, the Vail family bought Mozzi's back — Ron and Rane Vail, lifelong Hancock County residents, with their daughter Victoria as GM. They reopened in January 2026 using Mark's original recipe. The pizza you remember is the pizza we serve again.
Sixteen specialty pies on the menu. Six crusts including Chicago deep dish, Sicilian, and gluten-free. Here's where most regulars start.
